Tests

Well let me see where do I start...oh I know...I'M PREGNANT! I have not had my doctors appointment yet, that come May 7th, but so far I am late, had a craving for Shrimp (which I don't really like shrimp that much), a craving for Green Bean Cassarole, and both of of the pregnancy tests said "Pregnant".

See it all happened when Mark was like "You're late" I kind of looked at him and I was like "You know, I am." So he told me I should go get a test and I did the next day...to which his response was "You're pregnant! And you think so too! You didn't even fight with me about getting a test." So after not letting me pee for the next 8 hours I took the test at 1 in the morning. So after waiting the 3 minutes it says to wait I go in and look at it, my hands still shaking mind you, and lo and behold I see "Pregnant". I did not sleep at all that night. My mind was racing! I was excited and scared and thinking about...EVERYTHING! Once I did fall asleep we had to get up early so that Mark could go run his PFA (Physical Fitness Assessment).

As Mark was showering I was taking my other pregnancy test. Before I could even stand up the test said "Pregnant". It didn't even NEED the 3 minutes that it says in the instructions! So at that point I was pretty sure. Well as sure as I could be, it still all seems surreal to me.

So going by a due date calendar that I found online I am 5 weeks along which puts my due date at December 20, 2008. My doctors appointment is on May 7th so I will know more then.

February and March

Wow it's been way too long since I have updated!! Not too much has gone on but let me think back and see...

The month of February was not very eventful. I don't think that we really did too much other than get used to waking up at 430 every morning. haha It is not so bad once you get used to it but I stil maintain that it is just plain wrong to get up before the sun!!

The month of March was exciting!!! It was my birthday, of course it was exciting!! AND not only did I get Peterbrook Chocolate Covered Popcorn, 150 Cartoon Classics, Bee Movie, Enchanted, and get to see my parents and my brother, Seth, but I also went on a cruise! Mark took me on a cruise for my birthday! Those who went were Mark and I, his mom and step-dad, his grandparents, and a couple of Margie and Abe's friends.

We all had so much fun! We went to the Bahamas and just had a good time and relaxed!

Now, on every cruise you go on you have to participate in a lifeboat drill...after a couple of cruises you begin to try and get out of going to these drills but you usually get caught. So when you get caught and have to go what do you do?? That's right, you make the most of it!!

In Nassau we went to Senior Frogs and we all got balloon hats!! Mark got the special one though...

For presents Mark's parents and grandparents got me a bunch of quarters and a chocolate cake!! Ooh that cake sure was good!! Let me explain the quarters...you know those quarter machines that shovel quarters from level to level until they (and sometimes goodies sitting on them) fall out? The ones that your parents always told you that you couldn't play because they ate your money? YEP! THOSE! So fun!! haha

After we got back to the States and on land Mark and I stayed with my parents for a day more and then took the dogs and left to head back to Virginia. The trip wa not bac at all really. The dogs were great, as per usual. Bailey slept and Roxie sported the Chanel's!

The only problems that we did have on the way home were other drivers. My goodness there were some morons on the road that day! LOTS of RV's! One RV which had an SUV hitched to the back wasn't paying attention and about side swiped us. It was craziness!

Once we got back home though it was back to work! Well so we thought. It turned out that when Mark submitted his leave he got the dates mixed up and he had an extra day before work. That was nice because we had time to relax after a long truck ride!

Well that was the months of February and March!! I will do better at updating this...I WILL!
